Following discussions with the squash league organiser, I'm pleased to let you know that the October League will be extended likely to 6 weeks to help ease court congestion and give everyone a better chance to complete their matches.
We've done this in the past, and the extended timeframe allowed more players to stay in the league while also taking part in the Autumn Team Competition.
Thank you to everyone who has already been in touch to sign up and special shout out to Team Holt captain Eric, who’s already entered his full team!

I am excited to announce the Autumn Team Competition for 2025. We’re now looking for both team captains and players to take part!
Call for Captains & Players
We need 8 volunteer captains to lead the teams this year — and of course, we’re also looking for players of all abilities to fill those teams!
If you’d like to captain a team or just want to play and be part of the fun, please reply to this email to register your interest.
There’s a trophy on the line, with the winning captain’s name engraved — so get involved!
Competition Format
• 8 teams of 4 players (3 squash, 1 racketball) (May be reduced to 2 squash players dependent on interest)
• Divided into two leagues
• Players are handicapped based on squash levels and league positions, using our usual system
• All matches are best of 3 games, point-a-rally to 15
New members and all skill levels are welcome – this is a friendly, fun competition and a great way to meet other players.

Match Times
Matches will take place on Thursday evenings, 6:30pm–8:30pm, with the Grand Final on Saturday, 22nd November, followed by food, drinks, and a trophy presentation.
Even if you don’t make the final, come along for the celebration!
Proposed dates, subs are available if you cannot make all dates, please let me know if you have a preference on league 1 or 2 based on availability:-
