WBC - Squash & Racketball from 12th April, 2021

Dear All,

Apologies for the lateness of this email, but England Squash finally got around to issuing final' confirmation yesterday of what is permitted from Monday 12th April, 2021.

This is:-

Same household members - full play
Same support bubble - full play
Solo practice.
1-2-1 Adult coaching (Ali Jafari return to UK 26th April)

As before, the changing rooms/showers will remains closed but there will be access to the WCs via the rear access doors.

Sanitiser stations are position outside the court block and by the entrance to each court. There are also disinfectant wipes in the vestibule so that the court door (and flood barrier) handles can we wiped as you enter/leave.

Please ensure that you book a court on MyCourts if you are playing, even if it is for solo practice. There is also a NHS Track & Trace QR code on the left hand side as you enter the courts which you should scan.

The target is that play will open up further on 17th May albeit this remains subject to England Squash final confirmation. There is also some contradictory information on what is permitted on this date and I will be in touch as soon as that is clarified.

In respect of full, unrestricted play, the target date is 21st June.

I hope, like me, you are all looking forward to getting back on court, but if you have any queries or questions, please drop me an email.

Regards,

Graeme Mascall
Squash Captain
