Hello all Squash and Racketball members
Firstly, I am looking for 8 volunteer captains to lead their teams in this year's competition! If you want the chance to have your name engraved on the trophy please let me know by replying to this email.
The Autumn team competition will be back to full capacity this year with - 8 teams of 4 people divided into two leagues. Each team will consist of 3 squash players and 1 racketball player. Players will be handicapped based on squash levels and league positions using the same system we use in all handicap competitions. Matches will all be 3 games, point-a-rally scoring up to 15.
A full copy of the rules is attached. Please read if interested in taking part. All abilities and new entrants encouraged.
Courts are block booked 6:30pm - 8:30pm on Thursday evenings for the matches to be played with the final taking place on Saturday 30th November with food, drinks and a presentation to follow. Please put this in your calendar so that we get a good turnout regardless if you make the final yourself.
The timetable for the matches will be:-
Round 1 (League 1) - 3rd October
Round 1 (League 2) - 10th October
Round 2 (League 1) - 17th October
Round 2 (League 2) – 24th November
Round 3 (League 1) - 7th November (week skipped to allow for half term week)
Round 3 (League 2) - 14th November
Semi Finals – 21st November
Finals – 30th November
All matches, except the final, will be played between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
