Dear All,
It is that time of year again for the spring competitions. The events this year will be:
• Squash Open
• Squash Handicap
• Racketball Handicap
• Squash Doubles
Each of these events will also have a plate competition excluding the squash doubles.
The Squash Open (and plate) will be the best of 5 games, point a rally scoring to 11. In the event of the score being 10 all, a margin of two clear points is required to win the game.
The Squash, Racketball Handicap (and plate) and doubles events and will be the best of 5 games, point a rally scoring to 11 with 'sudden death' at 10 all.
Entries must be made via the MyCourts booking system. Please log-in and select "Tournaments" from the top menu bar and then select 2019 and the respective competition(s) that you wish to enter. The closing date is 28th February, 2019. Note doubles players please enter as individuals, the committee will agree upon the pairings to try and ensure a 'level playing field'.
The entry fee will be £2.00 per event. This will be automatically deducted when you register. Therefore, please ensure you have sufficient credit in your account to cover your entry fees.
The finals together with dinner will be held on Saturday, 18th May, 2019 so please put this date in your diaries and come along to lend your support.The timetable for when the matches are to be played by will be confirmed as soon as all entries are in.
