Hello to all,
apologies for second email, club coaching session for all levels of adults also continues on Saturday afternoons 16:00 to 18:00 £5 one hour £8 for two hours, all standards and abilities very welcome, lots of positive feedback from a regular group that attended, come and give it a go, first session is free of charge too!
I wanted to update you all with ongoing development of coaching options at WBC, but firstly to introduce the new name of Racket ball which is now called squash 57 (as the ball is 57mm in diameter).
Mixed ability Squash 57 sessions running from January 21st 14:00 to 15:00, free of charge initially, definition of mixed ability is absolutely anyone can have a go, disabled players, non disabled players the young and the not so young, we are welcoming non members to these sessions, equipment and guidance provided, these are participation, social and fun sessions, we had a trial run in November where 12 players tried out a new sport and loved it, posters are in the club house and on WBC Facebook page to view and share on social media.
Juniors are on Saturday afternoon at 15:00, age 5 upwards, we will be running with minimum of 2 qualified coaches from January, look for the posters at the club advertising Warwickshire Squash Stars, a £30 program that provides, racket, ball, bag, safety goggles and Squash shirt with initial's plus 4 lessons, non members welcome to give it a try so share amongst your friends and families. We have local squash hero, World number 6 and multi commonwealth games medalist Sarah Jane Perry meeting our Juniors on Saturday 18th for a Q+A, photos with medals and no doubt she will be getting on court with them too.
Group sessions are now on Thursday Night's, beginners and lower leagues are on at 18:30, intermediate and advanced from 19:30 through to 21:30, sessions now fixed at £6 per player, there will be a booking app provided to making booking on easier.
121 sessions are also available by individual arrangement
