Warwick Boat Club TotalSquash Camp – Lake Bled
May 4-7th 2023
A long weekend, in the stunning setting of the thermally sprung Lake Bled, with elite level coaching in the mornings, and then either taking it easy, or a little adventure in the afternoon. Followed by a meal and a drink in the evening…
Proposed itinerary:
Wednesday 3rd May evening, travel down to Gatwick.
Thursday 4th May take Easy Jet flight to Ljubljana 7.00am to arrive at 10.15am
• Pick up hire cars, to arrive at the self catered accommodation at approx 11.30am
• Rest of the day spent around the lake or, squash session in the afternoon.
• Evening meal around the lake
Friday 5th May
• 9am Optional dip in the lake to start the day!
• 10-12 noon. Group training session at the wonderful Vogu Club in Kranj
• Afternoon spent around the lake or an adventure (rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, ropes course, tobogganing, Vintgar Gorge walk)
• BBQ night on the terrace
Saturday 6th May
• 9am Optional dip in the lake to start the day!
• 10-12 noon. Group training session at the wonderful Vogu Club in Kranj
• Afternoon spent at Lake Bohinj – activities include walking, paddle boarding, swimming, cable car up Vogel Mountain, a walk to see the wonderful Savica Waterfall
• Match v Squash Klub Bled
• Evening meal around the lake
Sunday 7th May
• 9am Optional dip in the lake to start the day!
• 10-12 noon. Group training session at the wonderful Vogu Club in Kranj
• Take 15.35 Easyjey flight from Ljubljana to Gatwick, to arrive at 16.55h
• Travel back
Cost £350 pp (based on 8)
What’s included: Accommodation at Jezero apartments, based on 2 sharing a twin room (Single rooms are available for a small supplement). All court fees, All coaching fees, All transport costs in Slovenia. Tour t-shirt! Group bag to put rackets, shoes and toiletries in, so you can travel with just handluggage if you wish.
What’s not included: Flight (currently £86 return) Food/Drink, travel in the UK, hotel at Gatwick on the Weds evening (you could alternatively drive early on Thursday) any costs of adventures/activities in Slovenia.
Deposit of £150 per person to reserve your place. The balance to be paid no later than 2 weeks before travel.
